It is the wish of TTC personnel that you will be able to separate the two and use the information for your convenience and next tower/antenna job. Please feel free to call any of the TTC personnel on either of the CENLA repeaters for assistance, advice, or just chit chat.

The Turkey Tower Company was founded in 1983 by Edward (Sludge) Switzer, WB8TCT. At that time Sludge was in the Air Force at England Air Force Base and devoted all his off duty time to Amateur Radio. He saw a need for someone in the area to assist others in the erection and maintenance of towers and antennas. His enthusiasm about the idea quickly spread to other hams in the area and a small group got together and formed Turkey Company Towers (TCT). Later changed to Turkey Tower Company (TTC) for the sake of simplicity only. Word of the Turkey Tower Company spread fast, the list of jobs grew, and Sludge's dream came true. Since that time dozens of tower and antenna projects have been completed by TTC. To our regrets the Air Force moved Sludge and his family to England. This time it was not England Air Force Base, but to the country of England. Sludge has since retired from the Air Force and has relocated to Andover, Ohio. With pride we dedicate this booklet to Sludge, WB8TCT.

Note: The Turkey Tower Company has been dissolved because it's members have all gotten to old to climb towers. Some of our staff have even passed away.
