onions, chopped In a large skillet, sauté the onions, green peppers,
celery and garlic in butter until crisp-tender. Place in a very large bowl; stir
in the remaining ingredients. Transfer the ingredients to a 12 qt slow cooker. Once it
starts cooking turn cooker to low. Let cook until the rice is cooked and liquid
absorbed. Stir often. This recipe will serve 25 to 30 people. *** Uncle Ben's Rice
does not stick together ****** Uncle Leon’s Louisiana Seasoning can be ordered
by calling 318 466-5776. Note: If you use a seasoning other than Uncle Leon's
such as Tony's, you might want to cut back on the salt. Uncle Leon's is low
salt.
